The company Inlace technical textiles private limited was started in the year 2020 as a private limited company boot strapped with family and friends. The company is primarily focuses on brining sustainable and eco friendly solution in the area of Technical Textiles to its customer. Cotton is a highly water-intensive plant. Cotton finds application in fashion and technical textiles. We strongly believe that circular economy in the textile industry is the way forward towards sustainability. Landfills of synthetic disposables are great ecological concerns. Alternative is using natural fibres. In many such is replacement scenario the properties of cotton is not needed.
In the fiber reinforced composite application glass and other mineral fibres play important role. The carbon footprint of natural fibres such as flax, hemp, jute or kenaf is very less comparing to glass and mineral fibres.
Lot of research and developments are needed in order to bring less water intensive alternative natural fibre like banana and hemp fibres to main stream for more sustainable in future. In this endeavour technologist role is very important.
